Kent coronavirus cases reach 4441

Public Health England yesterday released the latest statistics for the Coronavirus epidemic. Confirmed cases of Covid-19 virus in the county have increased to 4,441, an increase of 331 over the previous week’s total.

With a rate of 283.1 per 100,000 residents, Kent is one of the worst-affected counties in the UK.
(Up from 262 per 100,000 the previous week.)
At 663, neighbouring East Sussex has fewer confirmed Covid-19 cases, 119.5 per 100,000 population.
In the borough of Tunbridge Wells, the total number of cases has reached 165, a rate of 139.8 per 100,000 residents.
