I summon you to a Meeting of the Highways & Footpaths Committee to be held at the Jessel Room, Goudhurst Parish Hall on Tuesday 23 October 2018 at 7.30pm when the following business will be considered: 

Members of the Public and the Press are welcome to attend this meeting.  At the Chairman’s discretion members of the public may be invited to speak for a maximum of 3 minutes each relating to items on the Agenda.  Please state your name and address prior to speaking.  Smoking is not allowed during Council meetings.  Please switch off mobile phones.

5. Roads and Parking

To receive reports on: 

a. Progress relating to Council’s Application to reclassify the A262 to a B class road. 

b. Data from the Speed Indicator Device (SID), comparing speeds at all 5 locations.

c. Progress on the A21 Speed Limit Reduction following the meeting held on 22 August 2018 with an officer from Highways England. 

d. Report on the liaison meeting with Ms Lisa Gillham, Tunbridge Wells Area Manger, Kent Highways held on 23 October 2018.

e. Goudhurst Parish Neighbourhood Development Plan.  To consider the NDP Traffic and Projects Sections in the draft Plan which is going out to public consultation. 

f. EV:  Electronic Vehicle Charge Points.  Cllr Mrs Susan Newsam to brief the Committee on progress to introduce the equipment to Goudhurst Parish and to bring forward recommendations to Council.
