I summon you to attend a Meeting of the Amenities Committee to be held at The Jessel Room in Goudhurst Parish Hall on Tuesday 26 March 2019 at 7.30 pm when the business detailed on the Agenda will be considered.

Members of the Public and the Press are welcome to attend this meeting.  At the Chairman’s discretion members of the public may be invited to speak for a maximum of 3 minutes each relating to items on the Agenda.  Please state your name and address prior to speaking.  Please switch off mobile phones.

4. Duck House for Goudhurst Pond  

To consider a request from the Goudhurst Village Pre-School for a Duck House to be introduced on Goudhurst Pond and to bring forward a recommendation to Council.

5. Light Pollution

To consider the attached e-mail from a local resident and to bring forward a  recommendation for action to Council. 

6. Land adjacent to the Back Lane Children’s Play Area

To receive a quotation (attached) for approval by Council for clearance work to a rough area adjacent to the Pay Area to enable improved parking facilities. 

This should be dealt with by the Youth Committee but Chairman is keen to progress this project.

7. Notice Board at The Plain

To note that the notice board was blown down during recent storms.  The legs had rotted. Repairs are in hand. 

8. Defibrillator and the Red Phone Box

To note progress with this project.
