I summon you to attend a Meeting of the Amenities Committee to be held at The Jessel Room in Goudhurst Parish Hall on Tuesday 24 July 2018 at 7.30 pm when the business detailed on the Agenda will be considered.

- The Glebe Fields
The Chairman will report on:
a. the Lease of the Glebe Fields from the Diocese of Canterbury.
b. a letter dated 15 July 2018 (attached) from the Friends of Goudhurst Village Green (formerly Goudhurst Village Green Committee).
c. To recommend to Council the quotation from Capel Groundcare for grounds maintenance at the Top Glebe (Village Green) up to March 2019.
d. Request from the Scouts for Camping on the Glebe Field on 12 October 2018.
5. The Goudhurst History Board
The Committee will consider the position, style, copyright and the language content of the present History Board so as to bring forward a recommendation to Council on its future.
- Chequer Field.
The Chairman will give a progress report on the delayed transfer of the Title to the Parish Council
- Play Area in Back Lane
The Chairman to give an update on developments and future plans.
- Goudhurst in Bloom
Cllr Mrs Angela Broom to report on progress following the judging. To note that the Prize Giving will be held on Thursday, 30 August at the Star & Eagle. 6.30 pm for 7.00 pm.
To agree who will present the prizes this year.
- Kilndown Fishing Club
The Chairman will report on the current situation regarding the control and management of the Club. To note that Council has accepted the offer from Cllr Chris Ditton red to take on that role. To note that the Clerk is to seek bids from grounds maintenance contractors for the upkeep of the Quarry Pond area.
