Entry forms will be available from Goudhurst Bakers, Burgess Stores, Kilndown Quarry Centre, St. Mary’s Church, or by phone from Angela Broom (01580 211316) from 1st May.
There are four categories in the competition: The Veronica Knight Cup for cottage gardens, The Dench Cup for private gardens, The Hugo Cup for business premises, institutions and schools and The Jonica Fox Plate for public houses.
Nomination forms for the Goudhurst in Bloom Community Award will be available as above.

Organiser Angela Broom writes:” There are so many people in Goudhurst parish who contribute so much to their community, it’s time to say ‘thank you’. If you know someone who constantly cuts a neighbour’s grass or hedge, tidies and plants a communal area then please fill in a Community Award nomination form, or phone or email with details.”

Judging should take place during the first week in July, with an award ceremony hosted by the Star and Eagle, Goudhurst.
