2. Declarations of Interest
To receive Declarations of Interest on Agenda items and Members are reminded that they must inform the Monitoring Officer of any changes to their Notification of Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.
3. To resolve that the Minutes of the meeting of Council held on 12 December 2016 and distributed to Members with this Agenda be signed as a correct record.
4. To receive Questions from the Public and the Press.
5. Goudhurst Parish Neighbourhood Development Plan
The Chairman and Secretary of the Goudhurst Parish Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) will report on progress.
6. To receive reports from County and Borough Councillors
7. Committee Reports
a. Amenities Committee.
The Chairman of the Amenities Committee will report verbally on current projects.
b. Highways & Footpaths Committee
The Chairman of the Highways & Footpaths Committee to report on a Committee meeting held on 13 December and for Council to decide on recommendations on
– approaching a landowner to obtain permission to establish a Footway over a parcel of land adjoining Station Road Goudhurst and
– to continue to pursue the project to establish a cycle way along Lady Oak Lane on Forestry Commission land.
c. Police and Neighbourhood Watch
The Chairman of the Police & Neighbourhood Watch Committee to report on progress with the enhanced CCTV projects and for Council to approve expenditure on a replacement camera at Goudhurst High St. Also a camera at the Old School to be funded by local residents.
d. Youth Committee
To receive a verbal report from the Chairman of the Youth Committee.
8. Planning Committee
The Chairman of the Planning Committee to present:
a. A report on the Planning Decisions received from TWBC in December 2016 (attached).
b. The Minutes of the Committee meetings held on 13 December 2016.
Kent Association of Local Councils (KALC) Communications & Media Conference at East Malling on 19 January 2017. Council to agree who should represent GPC at this event.
10. TWBC Parish Chairmen’s Meeting
Members to note, for background information, the Notes (attached) of a meeting held on 29 November 2016.
a. Approval of Accounts for payment.
b. To receive details of Receipts in December 2016.
c. To receive the reconciliation of Council’s accounts to the end of December 2016.
d. To receive a statement of actual expenditure against budget for Apr – Dec 2016 (attached).
